Mission Statement
Our mission is to maintain, enhance, and preserve the property values, aesthetics, livability, lifestyle and security that collectively is Summerwind. We build identity and awareness of our community outside its boundaries and provide a necessary interface with political entities and agencies that affect our residents. Our stewardship of the community and its assets assures our residents receive a level of service which makes Summerwind a community of choice in living.
We perform our mission based the following operating principles:
- We do not accept mediocre. We expect our community to maintain the highest of standards.
- We are proactive - not reactive - in addressing issues and community needs.
- As a Board, we reflect the issues and direction of the community at large. Everything we do is for the good of the community. There are no personal agendas.
- As Board members, we act with professionalism and confidence when representing Summerwind and managing customer requests. We expect the same professionalism and confidence from our Association management and contractors.
- Our actions are reliable, ethical, accountable, and guided by stewardship and prudent management practices.
- Our financial planning and expense of Association funds are conducted in an open forum.
- We seek to establish communications and an open dialogue with our homeowners. We strive to provide a forum for residents to come together to discuss concerns and interests.
- We have a responsibility to establish and maintain a vision for our community. We must demonstrate a leadership that is targeted, effective and focused.
